A family favorite take on chicken with pasta, loaded with flavor!

Ingredients:
1 500g box of you favorite pasta (we use fusili, rotini or bowties) *use whole wheat pasta to make gluten free!
1½ cups precooked, seasoned chicken (leftover is fine)
2 cloves minced garlic
Medium onion, diced
5-6 medium mushrooms, diced
200g sour cream
125g cream cheese with garlic and herbs
½ t garlic powder
½ t parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Method: In a medium to large pot, cook the pasta according to package directions. While the pasta is cooking, you can make the rest. I usually cut the veggies first to save time! In a medium frying pan, add a little olive oil or butter and heat to a sizzle. Add the garlic and brown it slightly, releasing the fragrance. Next, add the mushrooms, and onions, cooking for 5-6 minutes, until the veggies at at your desired tenderness. I usually add a splash of soy sauce for color but this is optional. I prefer my veggies a little softer, but you can cook them however you please. While your veggies are cooking, use a spatula to add the sour cream, and cream cheese to a large mixing bowl, and mix well. Add the garlic powder, and parsley, this is your sauce!! Scrape the containers well to get all the yummy goodness out! Next, do the same to the veggies in the pan, use the same spatula and get all the goodies from the pan into the bowl with the spinach mixture. Stir it up super well!! Next, add the precooked chicken, and mix it up to coat the chicken with the sauce. Last but not least, the pasta! Add that in and stir to mix everything up with all the creamy, garlicy, chickeny, deliciousness. I usually serve mine with some grated cheese and a loaf of garlic bread! Enjoy!
