
Easy Apple Cake (Geyer Family Recipe)

Ingredients:
4-5 apples Medium, Diced
80-100g melted butter (¼ cup)
¾ cup granulated sugar
Vanilla Flavor (Vanilla Sugar packet or 1 tsp of extract)
Cinnamon to taste, Optional: Speculoos Seasoning, Apple Pie Spice
Optional: Raisins (1 cup)
¾ cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
10g baking powder
2 cups self rising flour
Instructions: Preheat oven to 185c. In a large mixing bowl melt the butter (in the microwave) Next, add in the sugar and mix well! Then, add in the eggs and milk, and beat well until completely combined. Add in the vanilla and seasoning, (raisins if using). Add the dry ingredients next, flour and baking powder, mix well, dough will be thick!! Next add in the diced apples, yes it is a lot of apple, the cake will expand! LOL! trust the process… Bake at 185c (350f) in a greased and floured pan (13x9in or 32x22cm) for 50-60 minutes or until the top is a nice golden color, and a toothpick inserted comes out clean! Serve warm, or cool, and enjoy!
