Jack-O’-Lantern Caprese Skewers
These Jack-O’-Lantern Caprese Skewers are a simple and creative appetizer for Halloween! Fun and Easy to put together, they will be a hit at your next party.
Ingredients:
24 grape tomatoes
24 mini mozzarella balls
24 small basil leaves
2 tablespoon balsamic glaze
24 short skewers/picks
flat-leaf parsley (stems)
Tools: Cutting board, paper towels, small platter
Instructions:
Pat the mozzarella balls dry with paper towels so they don’t slip.
On each skewer: tomato → basil → mozzarella.
Arrange skewers in a wide circle to form a pumpkin; tuck a small parsley sprig at the “top” as the stem.
Drizzle lightly with balsamic glaze just before serving so the cheese stays bright.
Chill up to 2 hours; bring to room temp 10 minutes before guests arrive.
